BCH was “More Than Pink” in October

October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month was a busy month for BCH as we welcomed Susan G. Komen Kentucky as a new client. This nonprofit powerhouse works tirelessly toward one Bold Goal – to end breast cancer. We’re humbled to support this important mission in every way that we can.

Along with Susan G. Komen, many of our clients facilitated “More Than Pink” initiatives this October. These programs did more than just raise awareness, but provided very real funding for research and services, benefitting those currently fighting breast cancer, survivors, and everyone affected by the disease.

Here’s a snapshot of what we helped our clients achieve during Breast Cancer Awareness Month:

• Susan G. Komen Kentucky hosted thousands for the Race for the Cure 5K Run and 1-Mile Family Walk fundraisers in Louisville and Lexington

• KentuckyOne Health hosted the Yes, Mamm! 5K in Lexington and was a proud sponsor of Pink Prom in Louisville, both raising significant funding

• Simon Property Group – Hosted More Than Pink programming in malls across the U.S. in partnership with Susan G. Komen and reaching thousands of constituents

• McDonald’s
Bloomington, Indiana: Donated $0.25 of every Strawberry Banana Smoothie sold during October to the Bloomington Breast Cancer Awareness Walk and handed out gift bags during the fundraiser

Indianapolis: Donated gift bags and gift cards to breast cancer survivors at the Simply Pink Fashion Show

Lafayette, Indiana: Sponsored a team to participate in the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk and donated gift bags to survivors

We are proud to support our clients in the fight to end breast cancer.
